86.1 Introduction

This chapter is the analogue of the corresponding chapter for schemes, see Duality for Schemes, Section 48.1. The development is similar to the development in the papers [Neeman-Grothendieck], [LN], [Lipman-notes], and [Neeman-improvement].

A theory of rigid dualizing complexes and proper duality for Deligne-Mumford stacks is under development. (There were technical setbacks in the fundations that are now repaired.)

This is explained in Chapter 13 of the book

Derived Categories, by Amnon Yekutieli

To be published by Cambridge University Press
